What you can contribute
- Lead the library on a strategic, operational, financial and personal level
- Implement collection management policies, select and weed collections, and supervise collection processing, especially cataloguing
- Supervise services for users
- Coordinate work with other groups and internal services
- Represent the library vis-à-vis SLSP and external organisations (VJBS, Bibliosuisse, etc.)
- Manage or participate in projects (IT development, relocation, site transfer, etc.)
What makes you unique
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Science or equivalent diploma
- At least 5 years of professional experience in an academic or specialised library
- Very good knowledge of the SLSP platform and library standards
- Very good German and French skills, good English skills
- Leadership and project experience, social skills and ability to work in a team
- Organisational talent, conscientiousness, independence, analytical and synthetic thinking ability
In a nutshell
Represent and lead the Federal Supreme Court's academic library, whose task is to provide judges, court clerks and legal professionals with the necessary legal literature to fulfil their duties.
