To complement our team, we are looking for a specialist in therapeutic early education for the Autism Centre, approximately 80% workload, to start as soon as possible.

What you can achieve:

• You conduct developmental assessments and support children on the autism spectrum in their individual development.
• You create and implement support plans for individual and group therapies within the core team.
• You are an active part of a transdisciplinary team.
• You work closely with families and support and advise them on educational and developmental matters.

What you bring:

• a recognised qualification in therapeutic early education, preferably EDK accredited
• interest in autism
• desirable are additional training in communication support concepts, knowledge in paediatrics, and good IT skills.

The Autism Centre (AZ) of the GSR ( www.gsr.ch) has been supporting children on the autism spectrum (ASS) in the preschool area up to kindergarten enrolment in an intensive setting since 2008. The transdisciplinary work with specialists in therapeutic early education, speech therapy, occupational therapy, as well as complementary day structures, is highly valued.
Since 2014, the AZ has been recognised by the Federal Social Insurance Office for the implementation of intensive early intervention (IFI) in early childhood autism. In addition to the core business of IFI, the AZ offers a variety of autism-specific further training courses.
