For our Merat locations, we are looking for a leader as Head of Quality Assurance Gastro who actively shapes and further develops our quality culture.
What you will achieve
- Active participation in monitoring and ensuring quality in the broadest sense
- Organisation and execution of certification audits as well as conducting internal audits
- Responsibility for HACCP regarding processes and products
- Creation and implementation of sampling and control plans for products and hygiene
- Approval of the development of new products as well as recipe changes
- Creation and delivery of internal training in the areas of quality, hygiene and food law
- Leading projects to improve quality
- Willingness to occasionally travel to our other Mérat locations in Switzerland if required.
What you bring
- Education: Completed studies (University/ETH, FH, HF)
- Field: Studies or training in food technology, food chemistry or comparable
- Professional experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in quality assurance, in the food industry and in a leadership position
- You are a committed leader with strong organisational skills and keep an overview even in demanding situations
- You have sound knowledge of food legislation as well as relevant quality and certification standards
- You communicate clearly, convincingly and on equal terms and know how to raise awareness and train employees on quality and hygiene topics
- You enjoy working across departments and maintain a trusting collaboration with internal and external partners
- You act solution-oriented, pragmatically and with a high awareness of quality
- Self-responsibility, assertiveness and team spirit characterise you
