Programme Director BSc Building Services Engineering | Energy 80–100%
What you can achieve.
- You lead and shape the Building Services Engineering | Energy programme and develop a vision for its future together with the team.
- You further develop the curriculum, combining proven elements with new topics, learning formats and ideas. You use dialogue with students as an important impulse for quality and further development.
- You promote open, interdisciplinary collaboration with lecturers and other programmes – especially in the Department of Construction.
- You maintain and expand networking with companies, associations and professionals and bring impulses from the industry into the programme.
- You make the programme visible, address prospective students and further develop student recruitment together with internal and external partners.
- You connect teaching, research and practice, initiate cooperations and participate in research and service projects.
- You are also involved in continuing education and help develop new offerings.
What you bring with you.
What matters most to us is not primarily that you have already done everything. We are looking for a personality who combines professional competence with enthusiasm, a desire to shape and joy in collaboration.
- You have a university degree (FH/TU/ETH) in building services engineering or a related technical field.
- You know building services engineering from practice and bring several years of professional experience in the engineering of buildings, systems or energy systems.
- You approach complex issues creatively and solution-oriented and enjoy developing new ideas and solutions together with others.
- You enjoy working with young people and gladly pass on your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm.
- You bring different people and interests together, communicate appropriately for the audience and actively seek dialogue.
- You have teaching experience in initial or continuing education at tertiary level.
- You are well networked in the building services engineering or energy sector or would like to expand your network purposefully.
Experience in teaching or continuing education as well as in leadership, project management, acquisition or research is an advantage. If you do not have all these experiences but feel addressed by the role, we also look forward to receiving your application.
