The Salvation Army Switzerland Foundation is a Christian non-profit organisation. With Living and Accompanying Zurich, we operate three residential facilities in the heart of Zurich for people in challenging life situations.We create living spaces that enable stability, security and personal development. In doing so, we support our clients in strengthening their independence and shaping their lives as autonomously and actively as possible within society.
We are looking for reinforcement for our night duty team at Ankerstrasse 33.
Your tasks
- Contact person for the residents
- Needs-based support and care
- Collaboration with professional staff and execution of delegated tasks
- Carrying out supervisory and control duties
- Ensuring written and oral information flow
- Participation in reports and meetings
- Performing cleaning tasks
Working hours: Mon-Sun, 20:45-24:00 / 06:00-07:10 (sleeping on site from 24:00-06:00 with on-call duty for emergencies).
Your profile
- Experience and enjoyment in working with people in challenging life situations
- Professional experience in care, nursing or the social-medical field is an advantage
- Independent, responsible and resilient personality
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written (at least level C1)
- Identification with the values and mission statement of the Salvation Army
