The Criminal Chamber of the High Court of the Canton of Solothurn adjudicates appeals in criminal proceedings as the final cantonal instance. For the Criminal Chamber we are seeking, from 01.01.2027 or by agreement, a Court Clerk of the High Court, 80-100% at the Solothurn location.
Your responsibilities
- Your main task is to process written proceedings and prepare draft judgments for the judges of the Criminal Chamber.
- During oral hearings, you take the minutes, participate in the judgment deliberations with an advisory vote, and process these into a reasoned judgment.
- You will gain an in-depth and exciting insight into the judicial activities of a second instance.
- In a motivated team, you help shape the judiciary. You benefit from flexible working arrangements and time management.
Your profile
- You have completed legal training at a Swiss university and have experience in criminal law and/or the court sector.
- The lawyer’s licence is desirable but not a prerequisite.
- You have good IT user skills and enjoy working independently.
- An efficient working style, confident German language skills, as well as resilience and teamwork complete your profile.
