About the job
Our vibrant church community with around 3,500 members is looking immediately or by arrangement for a warm, committed and creative catechist (20–40%).
Would you like to accompany children and young people on their faith journey, work together with a motivated team and actively help shape the life of our church community? Then we look forward to getting to know you.
What to expect:
- You plan and design religious education at various school levels with joy and creativity.
- You accompany children and young people on their faith journey and create spaces for questions, community and experiences.
- You participate in services, the Christmas play and other events.
- You work in a trusting manner with parents, pastors, staff and volunteers.
- You contribute your ideas to projects and offers for children and families.
What you bring:
- A completed training as a catechist or an equivalent qualification – or the willingness to acquire this alongside your job.
- Joy and enthusiasm for working with children and young people.
- An open, warm personality as well as team spirit and independence.
- Identification with the values of the Reformed Church.
- Creativity, pedagogical skill and pleasure in accompanying people.
