Role:
Have you completed your training in IT and already gained practical experience? Do you want to manage server landscapes, optimise networks, and actively develop modern IT environments? Here you can apply your technical know-how, take on responsibility, and develop into a sought-after infrastructure professional.
Responsibilities:
Operation, maintenance, and further development of modern server and network infrastructures
Installation, configuration, and administration of Windows server environments
Support of virtualisation platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V
Configuration and monitoring of network components such as switches, routers, and firewalls
Analysis and resolution of technical faults in 2nd-level support as well as more complex infrastructure issues
Ensuring system availability, performance, and data security
Management of user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Microsoft environments
Participation in infrastructure projects, system migrations, and technical modernisations
Automation of recurring administrative tasks with PowerShell
Monitoring of backup, recovery, and monitoring solutions
Documentation of the system landscape and continuous improvement of existing operational processes
Qualifications:
Completed IT training EFZ with at least two years of professional experience after apprenticeship
Good knowledge in the administration of server and network systems
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments is an advantage
Basic knowledge in virtualisation, backup, and network administration
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and firewall concepts
Analytical skills and a structured approach to fault analysis
Enjoy solving technical problems independently and learning new technologies
