Employee Legal and Compliance, SPG Officer 80-100% (all genders)

What you will achieve:

• Assuming the role of the due diligence officer and acting as the central contact person for the FMA, FIU, and other authorities
• Conducting risk assessments according to the Liechtenstein SPG
• Responsible for the implementation and compliance with regulatory requirements in the areas of AIA and FATCA
• Advising management and specialist departments in the areas of insurance contract law, insurance supervisory and distribution law, as well as corporate law
• Creating, maintaining, and further developing internal instructions, guidelines, and processes
• Monitoring regulatory developments and deriving appropriate measures
• Responsible for training and raising awareness among internal stakeholders as well as reporting to management and the board of directors
• Supporting and coordinating internal and external audits

How you will impress us:

• Completed studies with a focus on business, law, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the legal or regulatory environment of a preferably Liechtenstein insurance company, bank, or authority
• Very good knowledge of insurance and commercial law as well as due diligence law and relevant AML and CFT requirements
• Solid experience in legal review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts, translating complex legal and regulatory requirements into pragmatic and business-oriented solutions
• Confident demeanour and experience in working with supervisory authorities (e.g. FMA, FIU)
• Independent, proactive, and responsible working style with enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• High level of integrity, discretion, and assertiveness combined with very good practical advisory skills and analytical abilities
• You do not hesitate to make independent decisions and are a team player with strong communication skills
• You are eager to take on a responsible key position as part of an innovative and collegial team in a dynamic environment
• You speak and write fluent German and can communicate well in English.
