Our client, an international biopharmaceutical company specialising in the development of innovative treatments, notably in oncology and immunology, is currently seeking several profiles to strengthen its teams in the canton of Vaud.

Physico-chemical QC Technician

YOUR MISSIONS:

• Perform the necessary QC analyses for raw material control, batch release, and stability studies
• Use various analytical techniques: HPLC, UPLC, CGE, FTIR, ELISA, pH, osmolality, protein concentration, and appearance controls
• Carry out sampling and analyses of raw materials
• Ensure critical review of data and analytical results in compliance with GMP requirements and Data Integrity
• Contribute to the management and traceability of samples
• Participate in the daily operation of the laboratory: preparation of solutions and buffers, waste management, and maintenance of the working environment
• Participate in investigations related to OOS/OOT results and contribute to root cause identification
• Write, review, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, analytical methods, and other QC documents

YOUR PROFILE:

• Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as a Laboratory Technician in Chemistry, Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry/Biochemistry, or equivalent scientific training
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in physico-chemical Quality Control in the pharmaceutical or biotechnological industry
• Essential practical experience in a QC laboratory in a GMP environment
• Proven practical experience in HPLC / UPLC
• Good command of several analytical techniques among the following: CGE/capillary electrophoresis, FTIR, ELISA, pH, osmolality, and protein assay/concentration
• Good knowledge of analytical method transfers and principles of method validation/verification
• Experience with analytical investigations, deviations, and OOS/OOT in a GMP environment
• Good ability to analyse, interpret, and review analytical data
• Proficiency in Empower and/or SoftMax Pro is a significant advantage
