Junior IT System Engineer (m/f/d)
Keeping complex IT systems running requires real expertise and absolute reliability. Our Rocken partner specialises in holistic IT services for corporate clients and offers customised solutions for the entire IT infrastructure. Individual customer care is paramount here. The scope of work includes planning, implementation, and support of modern IT environments – from infrastructure through cloud integration to endpoint management solutions. You work closely with customers, develop tailored concepts, and ensure that IT systems function smoothly. Installation, configuration, and support of customer environments remotely and on-site
Execution of cloud and Microsoft 365 migrations as well as technical system transfers
Implementation and support of infrastructure projects with VMware, NetApp, HPE, Veeam, and VoIP solutions
Setup and operation of highly available virtualisation, server, and storage environments
Monitoring of managed services and handling complex issues in 2nd and 3rd level support
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist or comparable qualification with several years of experience in the IT provider environment
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server/Client, Active Directory, Azure AD, and GPO
Experience with VMware, Veeam and ideally NetApp and HPE
Knowledge of Exchange, network basics, and Linux is an advantage
Good German skills, English skills are an advantage, and a category B driving licence
