Abacus Consultant Finance & Integration (m/f/d)
Role:
Numbers can do more than just sit in tables.
They can control processes, enable decisions, and drive companies forward. Provided the systems behind them work as cleanly as the accounting itself.
This is where you come in.
You move between the financial world and technology, between customer consulting and concrete implementation. Sometimes you dive deep into an accounting process, sometimes you explain a new function to a customer, develop an interface, or look for a solution so that data finally flows automatically where it belongs.
You don’t need to know every function of Abacus yet. What matters is that you understand financial processes, are technically curious, and eager to improve things.
Responsibilities:
You look closely at how customers work, where processes are unnecessarily complicated, and where digitalisation creates real added value.
You are confident in topics such as financial accounting, debtors, creditors, and e-banking and translate professional requirements into functioning solutions.
You conduct training sessions and ensure that users not only use software but truly understand and apply it meaningfully.
You develop and test interfaces, accompany integrations, and ensure that data flows reliably between different applications.
With reports and evaluations, you help customers turn numbers into usable information and better decision-making bases.
You work independently, contribute ideas, and actively shape your topics – without having to wait for instructions for every step.
Qualifications:
You know the world of numbers
Whether a professional certificate, training in fiduciary or accounting, or many years of hands-on experience: you understand how financial processes work.
Technology does not intimidate you
ERP systems, interfaces, and digital processes make you curious. You don’t have to be a developer – but you want to understand what is technically possible.
Abacus is a bonus, not a ticket of entry
Experience with Abacus is welcome. Much more important are your willingness to learn and your interest in developing professionally and technically.
You think independently
You recognise problems before they become too big, look for solutions, and take responsibility for your work.
You like people as much as systems
You can listen, explain, and advise. Because the best technical solution is of little use if no one understands or wants to use it.
You feel comfortable in a dynamic environment
Short distances, new ideas, and changes are not a burden to you but an opportunity to help shape things.
Languages: Very good German skills, spoken and written.
