Role:
Windows enterprise environments with high demands on stability and security require experienced professionals. This is exactly where the role of Citrix Infrastructure Engineer comes in. You navigate between virtualisation platforms, security concepts, and infrastructure projects with technical confidence. You apply your knowledge both in day-to-day operations and in advising internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of the Windows infrastructure are your responsibility.
You continuously operate and optimise desktop virtualisation based on Citrix.
You design hybrid fat client architectures and ensure stable Citrix workplace applications.
Administration and expansion of virtual platforms, including VMware, are part of your duties.
Additionally, you bring advanced know-how in Microsoft 365 (M365) and system management tools such as SCCM.
You also take co-responsibility for IT security, lead infrastructure projects, and ensure reliable support across multiple data centres.
Qualifications:
A qualification in the IT field at HF, FH level or equivalent forms your foundation.
You have several years of experience as a system engineer in a Windows enterprise environment.
Solid knowledge in Windows server and client areas including Microsoft 365 distinguishes you.
Experience with Citrix environments as well as server virtualisation is part of your toolkit.
You are well versed in IT security and think with a security-conscious mindset.
Furthermore, you convince with a structured, independent working style and enthusiasm for project responsibility.
