Introduction

We are a property management company established in French-speaking Switzerland since 1886 with offices in Geneva, Coppet, Nyon, Pully, Vevey, Fribourg, Sion and Neuchâtel.

As part of our development, we are looking for a Litigation & Legal Manager to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the follow-up of litigation and legal files under the supervision of the service manager and based on the instructions of the owners and internal guidelines.
• Prepare and issue reminders, formal notices, summons to tenants/co-owners as well as lease terminations for tenants in case of non-payment.
• Monitor payments from tenants/co-owners in collaboration with the accounting departments (PPE and management) and Property Management.
• Manage the necessary legal proceedings to protect the interests of our clients.
• Draft correspondence to tenants/co-owners and handle all requests and complaints.
• Prepare periodic reports for certain owners.
• Carry out and follow up on debt collection filings, eviction requests, payment demands, legal mortgages, etc.
• Represent the company at hearings before judicial authorities (in Geneva, Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Vaud and Valais).

Qualifications

• Experience in Swiss property management in the litigation field.
• In-depth knowledge of Swiss tenancy law.
• Good command of IT tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy, pragmatism, and a helpful and cheerful personality.
• English is an advantage.
• Be organised.
