In raw material procurement, you source the necessary raw materials or intermediates worldwide for the entire product portfolio of DOTTIKON. You work project-oriented and very closely with our Research & Development, Production, Quality Management, Business Development, and our customers. You are well acquainted with the procurement markets and the chemical competencies of our producers. In personal discussions at international trade fairs and on-site visits, you develop our suppliers and enforce our quality standards. Personal contact with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers is very important to you and essential for achieving the overall company goals.

Chemist in Raw Material Procurement (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- You conduct sourcing and procurement activities for your customer projects and ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines
- You monitor and coordinate the logistics chain and ensure the quality-compliant and timely delivery of all raw materials
- You identify, qualify, and develop suppliers and manufacturers
- You observe raw material markets, analyse trends, and proactively ensure the supply of raw materials to production
- You travel to trade fairs and visit manufacturers domestically and abroad
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Chemistry with a focus on inorganic or organic chemistry
- Experience in sourcing and procurement of raw materials in an international environment
- Very good written and spoken communication skills in German and English
- Interest in business and regulatory contexts
- Negotiation skills and enjoyment in finding creative solutions
- Reliable, precise, and accurate
- Communicative, assertive, socially competent, and authentic
- High commitment and team spirit
