Application Manager IT Operations (m/f/d)

Do you want to operate demanding software solutions reliably and accompany their technical integration throughout the entire lifecycle? As an Application Manager, you ensure the stable operation of corporate applications, coordinate technical changes and support the continuous improvement of existing services.
In collaboration with various specialist departments and IT specialists, you analyse error patterns, accompany tests and releases, and ensure comprehensible operational processes. You can bring in your experience to further develop processes and services in a dynamic IT environment.
Responsibilities:
Support and integration of applications in existing on-premises infrastructures
Analysis and resolution of technical problems in 2nd and 3rd level support as well as monitoring system availability
Coordination of changes, releases, deployments and tests
Development of interim solutions in case of disruptions and support of problem management
Support of technical interfaces as well as accompaniment of application updates and lifecycle measures
Collaboration with internal teams and external service providers as well as participation in the development and optimisation of services
Qualifications:
Completed bachelor’s degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in application operation or application management
Technical knowledge in Windows and Linux environments; experience with Kubernetes is an advantage
Understanding of complex IT services, interfaces and agile collaboration models
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style as well as pronounced coordination skills
Willingness to be on call and enjoyment of working with different technical and professional contacts
