For the Integrated Media Processing group, we are looking for an Information Specialist in Collection Management starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Job Description

• You contribute to the development and further advancement of a professional collection management system and actively bring your expertise to the design of efficient processes
• You plan and coordinate collection relocations, prepare media for transport, and ensure smooth implementation
• You identify, review and process collections for cleansing, thus contributing to the sustainable maintenance and optimisation of the collection
• You work closely with the Liaison Services as well as other internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated implementation of shared goals

Profile

• You have a qualification as an Information and Documentation Specialist EFZ or a BSc as an Information Specialist
• You possess sound knowledge of the RDA and GND standards and enjoy continuously expanding your expertise in formal cataloguing and GND editing
• You analyse complex issues in a structured manner, think in networks and develop pragmatic solutions for professional and organisational questions
• You have very good German and English skills
• You convince with strong communication and teamwork skills and organise your tasks proactively
• You approach changes openly and actively help shape them
