Your area of responsibility
In this responsible position as Application Expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & HR, you are the central expert for the digitalisation, optimisation, and further development of our finance and personnel processes. You work within IT at the interface between finance, human resources, and other departments, ensuring that our processes and value flows are efficiently, compliantly, and future-proofly mapped in D365.
With your understanding of business contexts and your technical expertise in D365, you significantly contribute to data integrity, process automation, and the provision of decision-relevant information for management.
- System configuration and optimisation: You configure, customise, and further develop solutions in D365 Finance, AX2012 Finance, and D365 Human Resources. This also includes interfaces to external solutions such as BLP, Mammut, UKA, pension funds, and time management (TimeTool).
- Process analysis and solution design: You analyse existing finance and HR processes – such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting, controlling, cost accounting, personnel administration, and personnel master data – and design efficient, standardised workflows in D365.
- Data management and integration: Together with data owners and data stewards, you are responsible for data quality and consistency in the finance and HR systems and ensure integration with other D365 modules, especially Supply Chain Management, as well as third-party systems.
- Reporting and analysis: You develop and implement meaningful financial reports, key performance indicator systems, and HR dashboards to promote data-driven decisions within the company.
- User support and training: You are a competent contact person for the departments, provide 2nd and 3rd level support, and conduct appropriate training for users.
- Compliance and security: You ensure that system configurations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and implement suitable security and authorisation concepts in the D365 modules.
- Project participation and further development: You actively participate in the introduction of new functionalities, rollouts, and system upgrades, taking a leading role for finance and HR applications.

What you bring
- Technical expertise in D365 Finance: Solid, several years of practical experience in configuration, customising, and ideally X++ development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance; knowledge of D365 Human Resources is an advantage. You are also familiar with roles and permissions in D365 F&SCM.
- Process understanding: Very good understanding of end-to-end processes in finance, especially Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash, as well as HR processes from Hire-to-Retire.
- Finance & HR knowledge: Solid knowledge of accounting, for example OR, Swiss GAAP FER, or IFRS, controlling and cost accounting, as well as a good understanding of modern HR practices.
- Integration experience: Experience in integrating finance and HR systems into a complex ERP landscape, including interfaces, data flows, and authorisation concepts.
- Analytical and structured working style: You quickly grasp complex contexts, work precisely and with quality awareness, and handle sensitive financial and personnel data responsibly.
- Communication skills: You communicate clearly and appropriately with contacts from IT, finance, and HR and can convey technical and professional matters understandably.
- Initiative and solution orientation: You independently identify improvement potentials, proactively drive their implementation, and achieve measurable impact.
- Teamwork: You enjoy working in a team, share your knowledge, and support colleagues in achieving common goals.
- Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications in the area of D365 Finance are a great advantage.
