Role:
Modern workplaces only function if cloud and infrastructure work seamlessly together. This is exactly the interface where you work as a Workplace & Infrastructure Engineer. With Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure, you build environments that noticeably ease your customers’ daily work. From the initial analysis to stable operation, you bear the technical responsibility. Regular assignments directly at the customer make your work tangible and varied.
Responsibilities:
You migrate customer environments to hybrid or fully cloud-based platforms and modernise existing systems.
You operate hybrid setups with Active Directory and Windows Server and develop them purposefully.
This also includes the administration of Exchange Online, Teams, Entra ID, and Microsoft Security.
With Intune, Autopilot, and Endpoint Management, you control the entire client lifecycle.
Furthermore, you accompany onboardings and operational takeovers, analyse infrastructures, and document the results clearly.
Additionally, you drive network, backup, and security projects forward and support second- and third-level support with challenging cases.
Qualifications:
You bring several years of practical experience in system technology around Microsoft technologies.
You are proficient in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure. You are also familiar with Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid architectures.
You quickly gain an overview of complex infrastructures and document them understandably.
Experience with Veeam, Fortinet, Sophos, Intune, Autopilot, or Microsoft Security as well as with server, storage, and network components from renowned manufacturers is desirable.
Ideally, you know the project routine at an IT service provider.
Moreover, you work independently and solution-oriented, enjoy being on-site with customers, and hold a category B driving licence.
