Your Tasks

• In our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will care for patients in the day clinic setting.
• After thorough training, you will independently manage the treatment of patients in individual and group therapies, thereby supporting the treatment concept.
• As an assistant psychologist, you will conduct individual and multi-person conversations, plan the therapy process, and carry out psychological assessments.
• In your varied daily work, you will encounter the full spectrum of psychiatric disorders and work closely with colleagues from other departments as well as referring agencies to ensure the best possible care for patients.
• With the support of our service-oriented secretariat, you will complete case-related documentation and record services in the hospital information system.
• At our Rapperswil location, you will actively participate in handovers, case discussions, and training sessions, and together with the team, professionally represent Psychiatry St.Gallen externally.

Your Profile

• You have completed a degree in psychology and have experience in adult psychiatry.
• Ideally, your further training in a federally recognised psychotherapeutic method with a cognitive-behavioural orientation is already advanced.
• Preferably, you hold an assistant psychotherapy permit from the Canton of St.Gallen (permit to work under supervision) or meet the necessary requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
• Your interest lies in day clinic, interdisciplinary treatment that is oriented towards the needs of patients and their environment.
• In dealing with mentally ill people, you convince through commitment, reliability, and communication skills.
• You enjoy working independently, are open-minded, and appreciate collaboration in a dedicated team.
