About the job
The Centre for Dental Medicine at the University of Zurich (ZZM) is an internationally recognised clinical, educational and research centre. In six specialised clinics and one institute, dentists, dental assistants and scientists work at the forefront of knowledge and in interdisciplinary teams to achieve the highest quality in patient care, teaching and research.The Clinic for Reconstructive Dentistry (RZM) ensures the care of patients requiring reconstructions with complex initial situations and high aesthetic demands. To restore chewing function and aesthetics after tooth loss, dental implants are anchored in the bone and used as artificial tooth roots depending on the initial situation.
Receptionist
Tasks
- Reception of patients and external guests of the RZM
- Oral and written appointment scheduling for patients
- Planning of appointment series for patients and coordination between patients, dentists and dental technicians
- Providing dental information and first contact during ongoing treatments
- Administrative management of the clinical schedules of dentists
- Coordination and organisation of patient referrals
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail and taking on additional administrative tasks
Profile
You have completed training as a dental assistant as well as additional commercial qualifications. Your personal strengths include loyalty, discretion, teamwork, resilience and initiative. In addition, you work very independently, present yourself well and have excellent manners. Particularly important to us is an open, helpful and warm personality who remains calm and composed even in hectic situations and always works reliably. Perfect German skills as well as very good English skills in spoken and written form complete your profile. Additional language skills are an advantage. You enjoy working in a dynamic team and are characterised by a high level of service orientation.

The position is initially limited to one year, with the possibility of a subsequent permanent position.
