(Senior) Payroll Manager (all, 60-70%) fixed-term for 6-8 months
As a (Senior) Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate payroll accounting of our employees in Switzerland. You are the central contact person for all questions regarding payroll, social insurance, pension fund, and time tracking.The position is part of a helpful and motivated HR team in a sporty-modern environment. The desired start date is 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.

Do what you love
- Recording payroll-relevant data and maintaining personnel master data for entries, exits, and changes
- Preparation and execution of the monthly payroll run
- Handling the associated administration and clarifications or settlements related to accidents, illness, maternity/paternity, family allowances, and AHV registrations
- Withholding tax registrations and withholding tax accounting with the tax offices of various cantons
- Monthly processing of interfaces to the pension fund
- Point of contact for all employee questions regarding payroll, social insurance, pension fund, and time tracking
- Quarterly and annual closing tasks including social insurance declarations
- Preparing key figures from the payroll programme (quarterly)
- Preparing holiday and overtime accruals (quarterly)
- Account reconciliations, bonus accruals, and support during audits
- Creation and processing of interim earnings forms and employer certificates for the unemployment insurance fund
- Monthly absence and time tracking management (Mobatime/Personio)
- Commercial basic training with further education in payroll (e.g. Payroll Specialist/Expert), further education as a social insurance specialist / HR specialist is a plus
- Proven experience in payroll accounting
- Sound knowledge of Swiss social insurance law
- Knowledge of Swiss labour law and application of payroll-relevant regulations
- Resilient and flexible personality with a flair for numbers
- Very independent, precise, structured, and efficient working style
- Team player with absolute discretion and high sense of responsibility
- Very good oral and written skills in German and English, any additional language is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of MS Office, SwissSalary, Personio, and Mobatime is a plus
