Job Description
You are responsible for the following areas:
- Contact person for import and distribution-related topics at the site as well as advising internal and external stakeholders.
- Planning, controlling and monitoring all import and export processes including invoice verification, creation of customs clearance instructions for customs brokers, control of customs procedures and data maintenance.
- Preparation and verification of all required shipping documents according to Global Trade Compliance Standards and Good Distribution Practice (GDP), including proforma invoices, packing lists, dangerous goods documents and certificates of origin.
- Ensuring the necessary import and export permits, licences and regulatory evidence.
- Organisation and monitoring of temperature-controlled air and land transports for national and international shipments.
- Execution of customs declarations in the EDEC/Expovit system.
- Creation, maintenance and analysis of relevant statistics and operational key figures.
- Compliance with and implementation of Trade Compliance Standards, SOPs and internal guidelines.
- Ensuring compliance with GMP, GDP and EHS requirements within your own area of responsibility.
- Creation, review and approval of GMP-relevant documentation.
- Use of regulated systems such as Veeva and MEDS to carry out GxP-relevant processes.
Profile
- Several years of professional experience in the field of import/export.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially GMP and GDP.
- Very good MS Office skills; SAP and Veeva experience is desirable.
- Independent, structured and reliable working style with a strong solution orientation.
- Strong communication and organisational skills as well as enjoyment of working with various departments.
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
