The Development Client Solutions division is responsible for the development, further development and operation of central customer-oriented banking solutions as well as digital channels. For the leadership and further development of this strategically important division, we are looking for an experienced, technologically savvy and implementation-strong leader.In this key position, you will lead a large and complex IT organisation of around 220 personnel units. You will develop leaders, teams and the organisation further and, together with the business managers, ensure a high-performance, stable and future-oriented delivery.

What can you expect?
- You take on the personnel, organisational and strategic overall responsibility for the Development Client Solutions division and lead the directly subordinate managers.
- You understand the development of people as a central leadership task. You specifically develop leaders and employees, promote potential, strengthen personal responsibility and create the conditions for sustainable competence and know-how development.
- You are responsible for the sustainable further development and stable operation of customer-oriented IT solutions and ensure compliance with relevant quality, architecture, security, risk and compliance requirements.
- You develop the division into a high-performance, impact-oriented delivery organisation and strengthen implementation power along key products, services and customer journeys.
- You actively shape the introduction and sustainable anchoring of the new delivery model and create the organisational, technological and cultural conditions for stable teams, clear responsibilities and reliable delivery cycles.
- Together with the business managers, you establish end-to-end responsibility for the further development and operation of the solutions under your responsibility.
- You ensure cross-divisional delivery capability and provide effective management of roadmaps, capacities, dependencies, risks and delivery commitments.
- You drive the technological and organisational further development of the division, reduce complexity and technical legacy issues, while simultaneously creating space for strategic future topics and innovation.
- You work closely with the development, architecture, platform, security and infrastructure units and ensure clear interfaces, transparent responsibilities and effective escalation paths.
- You maintain a partnership-based collaboration with the business managers and other key stakeholders and represent the interests of the division in relevant steering and decision-making bodies.
- You establish a modern, empowering leadership culture, promote personal responsibility, cross-divisional collaboration and continuous learning.
- As a member of the IT department leadership team, you actively shape the IT strategy, the further development of the operating model and cross-departmental decisions.
What do you bring with you?
- You have a completed university degree in computer science, business informatics, engineering or a comparable field, ideally complemented by business or leadership-related further training.
- You bring several years of leadership experience in a large and complex IT organisation, ideally across multiple leadership levels and with different technological areas of responsibility.
- You have proven experience in leading and transforming software development, delivery or product organisations.
- You understand the development of people as a core leadership task and have a proven track record in developing leaders, talents and organisations.
- You possess a solid understanding of modern software development, application architectures and operating models as well as the requirements for security, compliance, quality and technological sustainability.
- You are familiar with product-oriented organisational models, end-to-end responsibility, agile working methods and collaboration in stable, interdisciplinary teams.
- You can assess technological issues competently, set clear guardrails and make sustainable decisions without falling into operational micro-management.
- You convince with pronounced strategic and conceptual skills as well as proven implementation strength in demanding transformation and change projects.
- You have experience in managing capacities, budgets, portfolios, external partners and complex dependencies, ideally in a regulated corporate environment.
- You present yourself confidently, act thoughtfully even in demanding situations and provide clear orientation to employees, leaders and stakeholders.
- You have strong communication and stakeholder skills and can bring together different perspectives from business and IT into a common vision.
- You think entrepreneurially, act result-oriented and constructively question existing structures and procedures.
- You have very good German skills as well as good English skills.
