About the job
Your new role
As Head of Control Centre and Coordination, you bear overall responsibility for the operational management of vehicle operations and responsive personnel deployment planning in a 24/7 operation. In this role, you ensure professional intervention in the event of an incident and are responsible for a stable, safe and customer-oriented operation.
You coordinate central topics such as construction sites, accidents, vehicle availability, diversions, as well as the handling of extra trips. Furthermore, your department is responsible for the evaluation and utilisation of operational data as a basis for well-founded decisions and continuous improvements.
Beyond operational responsibility, you specifically develop the control centre further and drive strategic topics forward – especially in the areas of digitalisation, process optimisation and organisational development. In doing so, you actively shape the control centre and the operation of the future. You lead a team of around 15 people and continuously develop it. In your role, you also deputise for the Head of Operations and contribute to the leadership of a division with around 250 employees.
This position is for you if you
- are a team-oriented, empathetic, conscientious and resilient personality with a high sense of responsibility.
- have proven personnel leadership experience as well as several years of experience in a complex organisation; experience in a 24-hour operation is an advantage but not a requirement.
- have completed studies at a higher technical college or university or have a comparable qualification.
- possess negotiation skills and good communication abilities.
- bring good process management knowledge and act entrepreneurially.
- have a very high ICT affinity.
- possibly already have experience in a control centre or emergency call centre or in participating in projects.
