About the job

Responsibilities:

• Management of the swimming school with professional and social competence
• Ensuring a child- and fun-oriented learning culture in the swimming school
• Independent content planning and implementation of the SRSO swimming course programme
• Coordination, leadership and development of course instructors in consultation with the Technical Management
• Competent contact person for enquiries from parents and participants
• Management of the swimming school administration (1 person 20%)
• Promotion of the SRSO swimming school (e.g. flyers)
• Ensuring the quality of the swimming school
• Personal conduct of swimming courses as needed (Solothurn and surrounding area)
• Information, exchange and maintenance of contact on site with schools, day-care centres as well as the staff (lifeguards) of the pools in consultation with the Technical Management
• Coordination of the swimming school with the Swimming and Artistic Swimming divisions

Requirements:

• Mandatory: Completed training in baby/child swimming (e.g. swim-sports.ch, Swiss Aquatics or equivalent)
• Valid SLRG certificate as well as BLS-AED recognition
• J+S children’s sport recognition
• Optional: Kids Coach training
• Strong organisational and social skills
• High quality and sense of responsibility
• Good oral and written German skills
• High degree of independence
• Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Strong team spirit, enthusiasm for swimming
