Responsibilities:
You take technical responsibility for complex IT systems, resolve critical faults at the highest support level and ensure long-term stability through systematic root cause analyses.
You actively shape the further development of modern corporate infrastructures, renew existing platforms and assess new solutions regarding technical and operational requirements.
You carry out extensive changes and system migrations, plan the individual implementation steps and ensure a safe transition to productive operation through careful coordination.
You develop technical solution designs, architecture overviews and operational concepts and prepare complex issues as well-founded decision bases for different stakeholders.
You lead technical sub-projects, define reusable standards and support the optimisation of operational processes, security policies and the strategic planning of the system lifecycle.
Qualifications:
You have completed training in computer science or an equivalent qualification and have at least seven years of professional experience in enterprise environments. Several years of experience in a technically responsible engineering role is a prerequisite.
You are proficient in the setup and operation of Microsoft server environments and familiar with Microsoft 365, identity management and technologies such as VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra, ADFS and DNS.
You use PowerShell and GitLab purposefully for automation and standardisation and have experience with patch management, monitoring and overseeing complex system landscapes.
You are familiar with ITIL and ITSM processes, think security-oriented and can assess new technologies regarding risks, integration possibilities and long-term benefits.
You convince through analytical thinking, initiative and clear communication. You can justify technical decisions comprehensibly, explain complex contexts understandably and communicate confidently in German, Swiss German and English.
