About the job
The Department of Supervision for Special Education and Therapies of the Canton of Schaffhausen is
responsible for preventive and therapeutic services in the areas of speech therapy and psychomotor skills for kindergarten and school children in the regular school system.
We are looking for a speech therapist for 29 lessons starting 01.02.2026 or by agreement (limited to one year with a prospect of permanent employment), for primary school and kindergarten at several locations (Merishausen 7L, Rüdlingen 7L, Thayngen 7L, Siblingen 5L)
Your tasks
- Diagnosis and clarification of therapy needs for children with speech difficulties in regular and integrative special schools
- Conducting speech therapy sessions in individual or group settings for both client groups
- Consultation and interdisciplinary collaboration with parents, teachers, and specialists
- Designing preventive and integrative offers
Your profile
- A diploma in speech therapy
- Independent, flexible, and responsible
- Competent in administration and organization
- Good communication skills
- Creative and enthusiastic in working with children, parents, and a team
