REALLY MAKING A DIFFERENCE AT WORK.

What to expect
- You shape the company-wide target architecture and application landscape and, together with the architecture team, further develop principles, standards and strategic guardrails taking into account relevant business and technology developments.
- You take architectural responsibility for selected business and cross-sectional domains, build a solid understanding of their processes, capabilities and application landscape and develop these further together with business and IT.
- You develop target images, development plans and multi-year domain roadmaps and derive necessary changes and strategic initiatives from them.
- You link business capabilities, processes and value streams with the application landscape, thereby creating a solid basis for architecture, portfolio and investment decisions.
- You accompany strategic portfolio and demand planning from an architectural perspective and ensure that planned initiatives contribute to the long-term target architecture.
- You bring the domain and enterprise perspective into strategically relevant initiatives.
- You ensure the architectural conformity of strategically relevant initiatives, integrate them into established architecture governance and design approval processes and represent architectural decisions in the relevant committees.
- You work closely with business, solution design as well as security, data, platform and infrastructure architecture, make dependencies and need for action visible early and ensure consistent architectural decisions across domain boundaries.
What you bring
- You have a degree in business informatics, computer science or a comparable qualification as well as at least 5 years of relevant experience in the enterprise or domain architecture environment, ideally in complex transformation and corporate structures.
- You bring solid experience in the strategic development of complex application landscapes and have already helped shape target architectures, development plans or architecture roadmaps.
- You can connect business capabilities, processes and value streams with applications and technologies and derive concrete target images and fields of action from them.
- You have a broad technological and architectural understanding of modern enterprise IT, for example in application architecture, integration and APIs, cloud, data and platforms.
- You are familiar with established architecture methods and modelling approaches such as TOGAF, ArchiMate or capability mapping and apply them pragmatically.
- You work strategically and analytically but also go into depth technically and professionally when necessary to understand complex domains and prepare well-founded architectural decisions.
- You have very good German and English skills as well as strong communication and stakeholder skills and can represent architectural topics clearly and convincingly to business, IT and management.
