Senior Business Analyst / Business Engineer - occupational pension /80-100%/ ZH
Project focus: For a strategic project in the field of occupational pension, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Business Engineer. The focus is on replacing an existing application for simulating pension offers, which is operated on an outdated platform. At the same time, the current advisory and business process is to be analysed and redesigned for the future IT solution. The emphasis is initially on the professional preparation of the later IT implementation.

Tasks:

• Analysis of the existing AS-IS processes around advising corporate clients on occupational pensions
• Analysis of the processes from needs assessment and tendering through review to optimisation
• Identification of manual work steps, media discontinuities, duplications and data inconsistencies
• Analysis of interfaces to customer and master data systems, pension administration, document management as well as external data sources
• Development and documentation of an efficient TO-BE process for the future application
• Development of proposals for automation, process optimisation and improvement of data integrity
• Conducting workshops and interviews with specialist departments, product owners, IT and other stakeholders
• Creation of process models, interface overviews and professional requirements
• Translation of professional requirements into features, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Description of data flows and interface requirements as a basis for technical implementation
• Support of IT in transferring professional requirements into technical specifications
• Participation in prioritisation, backlog and roadmap within the project ramp-up
• Development of solution proposals and decision-making bases for management

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Engineer at a financial service provider or insurance company
• Solid experience in end-to-end process analyses and process optimisation
• Experience in modelling AS-IS and TO-BE processes
• Very good knowledge of methods such as BPMN, use cases, user stories and process modelling
• Experience with complex data flows, interfaces and system landscapes
• Ideally experience in the field of occupational pension / BVG for corporate clients
• Knowledge of BVG, KTG, UVG and UVGZ topics is an advantage
• Experience in agile project environments, for example SAFe, Scrum or Kanban
• Confident in collaboration with specialist departments, IT, architecture and other stakeholders
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Ability to capture complex professional processes in a structured way, question them and translate them into actionable requirements
