Senior IT Platform Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
Are you looking for a new challenge as an ICT System Engineer? In this role, you take responsibility for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of ICT systems. You are responsible for ensuring system stability and security. With your professional level of experience, you are well equipped to analyse and optimise complex systems. You bring your skills and experience to develop and implement innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the stable operation of our system platforms and manage virtual desktop environments as well as server services.
You design secure access and identity solutions and are responsible for relevant protection functions within the Microsoft cloud.
You reduce manual efforts through automation and strengthen the resilience and fault tolerance of IT services.
You handle technical escalations, analyse recurring errors, and oversee controlled adjustments during ongoing operations.
You lead technical meetings, coordinate participants, and communicate complex matters clearly to different stakeholder groups.
Qualifications:
Professional qualification in computer science or comparable tertiary-level education.
Proven experience with Microsoft system architectures, central user directories, and platforms for virtual work environments.
Practical experience in supporting cloud-based enterprise services, access control, and enforcement of security policies.
Knowledge of PowerShell or similar automation tools as well as an understanding of ITIL-oriented operational procedures.
Communicative, eager-to-learn personality with independent work organisation, strong quality awareness, and good German and English skills.
