The law firm NEOVIUS AG advises and represents clients in private law as well as public law matters, with a focus on construction and real estate law as well as contract and corporate law.

Head of Operations (50 - 60%)

What are your responsibilities?

You are responsible for the operational management of an established law firm with around 20 employees – independently, in a structured manner, and reporting directly to the partnership.

Your area of responsibility includes the entire operational firm management: personnel administration, finance and accounting, coordination of our external service providers, and the firm’s external representation. You lead the secretarial and back office team (7 people) in terms of personnel. In addition, you are responsible for managing the board secretariat and organising the further committee work of the partnership.

The position offers the potential to grow into a broader leadership role – with greater decision-making authority in finance, personnel, and organisational development.

What do you bring with you?

You have a commercial or generalist education with several years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally in a service or consulting environment. Experience in financial accounting and personnel administration is required; knowledge of law firm management and leading a small team is a clear advantage.

You work independently, reliably, and with a high standard of quality and discretion. You think structurally, keep an overview even in hectic phases, and can set priorities clearly. Conceptual thinking is equally important: you proactively develop the firm’s operations and contribute your proposals to the partnership. Native-level German is a prerequisite; good knowledge of common MS Office applications is expected.
