As Head of Technical Competence Center, you take on a key role in the further development of our technical expertise, product quality, product development and innovative strength. You lead a specialised team, set group-wide quality standards and drive the development of sustainable building material solutions.
A major focus of your role is the professional support and assistance of our customers. You ensure professional technical advice and develop optimal solutions together with customers in the areas of application technology, mix design, product application and product optimisation.
In doing so, you combine technical excellence with entrepreneurial thinking and represent our company as a competent contact person to customers, partners and expert committees.
- Leadership of the Technical Competence Center (TCC) with responsibility for employees, organisation, budget and competence development
- Definition, implementation and monitoring of group-wide quality and technology standards for cement, concrete and aggregate products
- Research and development of innovative and sustainable building material solutions as well as support for product launches
- Responsibility for the accredited testing laboratories and compliance with all quality, testing and accreditation requirements
- Active maintenance and further development of relationships with customers, authorities, standardisation institutes, industry associations and other relevant stakeholders
This is how you contribute with us
- Completed training as a master builder, HF technician or comparable qualification with sound knowledge in concrete technology; additional knowledge or a degree in materials science, chemical engineering, civil engineering or a related field is an advantage.
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in the building materials, concrete or cement industry as well as sound knowledge of construction practice, concrete technology, building materials testing, quality management and relevant Swiss and European standards.
- Entrepreneurially minded and decisive personality with a strong customer, quality and solution orientation
- Very good German skills as well as good English and/or French skills
