DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes, VMware, Nutanix (m/f/d)
Our client is an established technology company that develops and realises sophisticated technical systems and components for international applications. The company combines development, manufacturing, and technical services and supports its solutions through various phases.
Precision, quality, and reliable processes characterise the working environment. You can expect a technically demanding environment with short decision-making paths, high personal responsibility, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities:
You automate development and operational processes
You develop scripts for software applications, components, or modules as well as interfaces
You apply container virtualisation
You ensure the required development, test, and production systems including networks for the software applications
You monitor the availability, recoverability, performance, and resource consumption of the applications
Qualifications:
You have a degree in computer science or a vocational training as an IT specialist EFZ or are a career changer with corresponding further training and professional experience
You have experience with GitLab or Azure DevOps
You are skilled in scripting and using automation tools such as CI/CD, Ansible, and Terraform
You have experience with container and virtualisation technologies as well as with hyperconverged systems like Kubernetes, VMware, and Nutanix
You work independently, proactively, and conscientiously
You have very good German and English skills at least at level B2
