Job description

Its mission is divided into several areas, including the administrative pathway from application to obtaining diplomas.
This priority mission is fulfilled by the registration service, in collaboration with academic advisors from Faculties, Centres and Institutes.
To join its dynamic and collaborative team, the service is recruiting an administrative referent at the reception and orientation of the registration service.
Your main tasks:
- Inform applicants about the various procedures, conditions and deadlines to be followed for registration at UNIGE
- Inform UNIGE applicants and students about the formalities and administrative procedures related to their study path (tuition fees, deadlines, faculty changes, address changes, diplomas, etc.)
- Information provided in person (counter), by phone (helplines) and via the online platform
- Use appropriate communication techniques to take cultural differences into account and to manage difficult situations, especially with rejected applicants
- Analyse and process simple files independently, from application to registration confirmation
- Supervise the analysis and processing of simple files by temporary staff, from application to registration confirmation
- Assist managers with follow-up/processing tasks

Required title and skills
The holder must have at least a commercial apprenticeship certificate (CFC) or a commercial maturity certificate
with relevant professional experience or additional training
