The Bernese BVG and Foundation Supervisory Authority (BBSA) is responsible for the supervision of pension institutions, traditional foundations, and family compensation funds. The BBSA employs around 15 staff and has offices in a central location at Belpstrasse 48 in Bern. We are looking for a
Auditor for Pension Institutions (80% - 100%) starting January 2027 or by arrangement
Your area of responsibility: You ensure that pension institutions based in the cantons of Bern and Fribourg comply with legal regulations. Your main tasks are:
- Review of annual reports
- Assessment of financial security
- Identification and handling of risk cases
- Technical expert and sparring partner in auditing matters
- Participation in the further development of supervisory practices and business processes
- Engagement in the professional network of occupational pensions as well as in working groups of supervisory authorities
Your profile: You hold a qualification as a certified auditor, expert in accounting and controlling, or an equivalent education, as well as knowledge and experience in accounting and ideally in asset management of occupational pensions. Analytical thinking, a flair for interdisciplinary collaboration, and excellent oral and written communication skills are among your strengths. You work independently, in a structured and careful manner, and enjoy analysing and assessing complex issues in the field of occupational pensions. A strong sense of quality, a pronounced affinity for numbers, and a responsible and solution-oriented working style are natural for you. You speak German or French and have good knowledge of the other language.
