If you quickly understand business processes and at the same time know how to create technically sound IT solutions from them, this role offers the right scope for design. We are looking for an IT generalist who connects business applications, infrastructure, and digitalisation.
Responsibilities:
Management and continuous optimisation of an integrated business IT landscape
Ensuring the availability and quality of business-critical applications
Technical responsibility for ERP-related systems and their surrounding systems
Analysis of business requirements and translation into practical IT solutions
Design and further development of interfaces and automated data flows
Coordination of external technology partners across various support levels
Handling complex technical issues and escalations at 2nd level
Initiation and implementation of digitalisation and IT transformation projects
Evaluation of new software and technology solutions
Planning of releases, migrations, and system expansions
Responsibility for hardware, clients, and central infrastructure components
Further development of the Microsoft 365 and Windows environment
Optimisation of IT processes with modern methods such as ITIL, automation, and self-service
Building a structured knowledge base and technical system documentation
Supporting users in the introduction of new digital solutions
Promoting efficient collaboration between business units and IT
Qualifications:
Technical education in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable background
Several years of experience in application management, IT operations, or business IT
Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes
Experience with application landscapes, interfaces, and data integrations
Good knowledge of the Microsoft environment and understanding of modern infrastructure
Experience working with external IT partners
Project management experience and enthusiasm for change processes
Ability to quickly recognise technical dependencies and develop pragmatic solutions
Independent and solution-oriented working style
Strong communication skills and pronounced service understanding
Willingness to take responsibility for technical issues yourself and not just coordinate
