To ensure long-term continuity, we are seeking an entrepreneurial leader with the clear goal of mid-term company takeover.
Overall objective of the position:
In the first phase, you will take over the operational, technical and personnel management of the entire workshop. You will optimise processes, ensure capacity utilisation and lead the team noticeably. Gradually, you will be introduced to the overall business management.
Your clear goal:

Ensuring timely, efficient and high-quality completion of all service, repair and maintenance work, inspections as well as conversions and modifications.
Competent support and advice to demanding customers on complex technical issues.
Responsibility for compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations as well as modernisation of the workshop infrastructure.
Your core tasks also include independent management of demanding projects in the areas of organisation and digitalisation.
Phase 2: Strategic Development & Succession (Focus on Future)
Management: Gradual assumption of business management tasks (finance, budgeting, marketing/sales)
Company takeover: Close, trusting exchange with the current ownership for strategic and financial preparation of the succession.
What you should bring:
Basic education: Technical basic training in a craft or mechanical field (e.g. agricultural machinery mechanic, truck mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician or polymechanic).
Further education: Successfully completed further training at the level of Advanced Federal Diploma (HFP) or professional certificate (e.g. automotive diagnostician, workshop coordinator, master craftsman) or a degree as a technical business manager/operations manager.

Entrepreneurial spirit: You bring basic business knowledge (or the willingness to acquire it) and have a genuine desire to be your own boss.
Language skills: Swiss German as mother tongue; knowledge of French, Italian or English is an advantage.
Soft skills: As a hands-on personality, you get involved yourself, lead by example and possess strong assertiveness. You lead your team at eye level, promote talents and create a motivating working atmosphere. You have the maturity and the financial/entrepreneurial interest to take on long-term responsibility for an SME and its employees.
