About the job
The certificate course «Specialist in Activating Everyday Design – Focus on Dementia | SRK Baselland» imparts practical skills for resource-oriented support of people with dementia in care and support institutions and contributes to the sustainable improvement of their quality of life. The one-year course starts each spring and autumn and takes place either on Mondays (autumn) or Tuesdays (spring).
We are looking for course instructors for the following areas/topics:
- Creative approaches in activation (2 days/year, Mondays and Tuesdays)
- Perception and everyday life (2 days/year, Mondays and Tuesdays)
- Basal stimulation (6 days/year, Mondays and Tuesdays)
- Dementia from a medical perspective (4 days/year, Mondays and Tuesdays)
The teaching days usually cover full days. The course content is defined; the teaching materials can be individually adapted within the curriculum and learning objectives. Assignments are paid hourly.
Your profile:
- You have a qualification as a Specialist in Activation HF and/or a recognized training or further education in the corresponding teaching topic.
- You have professional experience working with people with dementia.
- You have a pedagogical qualification in adult education (e.g., SVEB 1 or your own specialist certificate).
