Tasks

• You advise and accompany patients and their relatives on social and personal issues
• You competently and solution-orientedly clarify social insurance and financial matters
• You are responsible for organising outpatient support measures for the return home
• You mediate suitable institutions and follow-up solutions according to needs and individually
• You professionally network patients with authorities, insurance companies and other organisations
• You contribute your social work expertise in the interdisciplinary treatment team and work closely with various professional groups
• Depending on your qualifications and interests, you accompany and support students in their practical training

Profile

• A completed education in social work (FH/HF) is mandatory
• You already have sound knowledge of the social insurance system
• Ideally, you have gained experience in clinical social work or healthcare
• You act professionally, empathetically and solution-oriented even in severe human fates
• Flexibility, teamwork and resilience characterise you
• A structured, independent and reliable way of working is natural for you
• You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written; further language skills are an advantage
• A CAS practical training is desirable
