• Management of the staff area Political Affairs and Projects
• Coordination and handling of the division's political affairs including the preparation of schedules, reports and statements as well as responding to political initiatives
• Management of legislative revisions in the area of civil protection and management or collaboration in projects and subprojects
• Collaboration in the preparation of the annual report and the division's task and financial plan
• Advising and supporting the division head and the section heads of the division

What you bring:

• Completed studies in the fields of humanities, political science or law
• Confident German and fluency in written expression
• Knowledge of the cantonal administration and political processes in the Canton of Aargau is an advantage
• Experience in preparing decision-making bases and reports
• Quick comprehension and precise, independent and structured working style

Your working environment

The population is at the centre of the activities of the Department of Health and Social Affairs. We work sustainably and purposefully for the safety of their living environments. The Division of Military and Civil Protection fulfils tasks in the areas of military, military service replacement as well as civil and population protection. We are also the administrative hub for members of the army and civil protection in the Canton of Aargau. The employees are responsible for training and coordinating operations within the framework of civil protection.
