As a Hardware Engineer with a focus on control system construction, you support our automation teams from the creation of the hardware concept to the implementation and commissioning of the systems including specialist construction management and are responsible for all hardware-related matters in the project.
YOUR TASKS
- CUSTOMER FOCUS & CONCEPTION: Understand the requirements of our customers and develop innovative and tailored hardware concepts
- PROJECT LEAD: Coordinate the projects including project controlling regarding time, costs, and quality
- SYSTEMS ENGINEERING: Support the design of process/drive technology for automated industrial systems
- PURCHASING: Ensure the availability of the required materials and be responsible for ordering
- INTERFACE: Be the contact person for suppliers and external partners (control system builders, electrical installers, etc.)
- DOCUMENTATION & KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER: Create and maintain technical documentation for sustainable knowledge retention, training, and maintenance.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
- solid technical training (e.g. automation technician or electrical planner/electrical installer with further training/experience in electrical planning)
- degree from a university of applied sciences or higher technical college (in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or similar) or further training in project management
- experience in creating electrical schematics with E-Plan for industrial automation is an advantage
- several years of experience in control system construction and electrical installation
- independent and responsible working style
- very good knowledge of German (min. C1); English skills are an advantage
