In the BSA (Operations and Safety Equipment) sector, we ensure the safe operation of technical systems on the national roads. This includes, among other things, power supply, tunnel lighting, signalling, control and management systems, as well as safety installations.

Your tasks

  • Professional and administrative leadership of a team of service technicians as well as coordination of deployments and support in the professional development of employees.
  • Operation, maintenance and cleaning of high and low voltage systems in tunnels and along the national roads in the canton of Bern.
  • Troubleshooting, fault rectification and operation of modern control systems.
  • Inspection, documentation and optimisation of the systems. Planned deployments during night tunnel maintenance.
  • On-call duty in rotation with the team for maximum safety

Your profile

  • Qualified electrician EFZ or comparable training (assembly electrician EFZ, automation technician EFZ)
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Experience in control or automation technology, ideally in an industrial service environment
  • Restricted installation permit according to Art. 13 NIV or connection permit according to Art. 15 NIV or willingness to obtain this
  • Driving licence category B and ideally C or willingness to obtain these
  • Residence within approximately 30 minutes’ drive from the motorway depot Spiez (on-call deployments)
