Workplace Bern, limited to 2 years with the prospect of a permanent position
The Swiss Heritage Network coordinates the Swiss edition of «Rendez-vous aux jardins», a Europe-wide initiative to promote and convey garden culture, historic gardens, and cultural landscapes. For the establishment and successful implementation of the campaign, we are looking for a dedicated individual for campaign management from 1 December or by agreement.
Tasks
Development, coordination, implementation, and further development of the campaign. Support and coordination of organisers, partner organisations, authorities, owners, and other stakeholders. Planning and implementation of national media, communication, and marketing measures. Content support and curation of the campaign as well as coordination of event recording on digital platforms. Fundraising, application submission, and acquisition of partners and sponsors. Controlling, evaluation, and reporting on the campaign. Maintenance of relationships with European coordination offices.
Profile
University degree, preferably at master’s level, in a relevant field (e.g. history, art history, architectural history, archaeology); equivalent education or professional experience possible. Experience in project, event, or campaign management. Knowledge of marketing as well as digital and traditional public relations. Experience in collaboration with authorities, cultural institutions, and various partner organisations. Very good French and German skills in spoken and written form; Italian and English are advantageous. Organised, proactive, and communicative personality with a high degree of personal responsibility. Interest in cultural heritage, architectural culture, garden culture, as well as historic gardens and cultural landscapes.
