What you can contribute
- Plan and coordinate ongoing business in a timely manner
- Administratively process, control and manage double taxation agreements as well as other business of the Parliament/Federal Council and coordinate with the Federal Chancellery and other federal offices
- Administratively support mutual agreement procedures
- Receive and answer written and telephone enquiries or forward them to the responsible person
- Maintain overviews of double taxation agreements and update the relevant ordinance annually
What makes you unique
- Commercial or equivalent training
- Several years of professional experience and familiar with tax law assistance
- High organisational skills
- Interest in mobile working methods and competent handling of the digital working environment
- Very good knowledge of two official languages and English, passive knowledge of the third official language is an advantage
In a nutshell
Work at the interface between politics and international tax matters. As an assistant, you support the Tax Department in handling political business and procedural management as well as coordinating and organising departmental tasks. Together with a small team, you form the administrative hub of the department and thus make a central contribution to its success.

The State Secretariat for International Financial Matters (SIF) is responsible for coordination and strategic leadership in international financial, tax and monetary matters and represents Switzerland's interests in these areas abroad. It develops the basis for financial market policy, financial market regulation and the Swiss tax location.
