About the job
The first point of contact for patients, guests, customers and suppliers is our voice on the telephone or at the customer reception. The aim is to advise patients individually and to enable them a smooth hospital admission. To make the hospital stay as pleasant as possible from the start, our specialist staff are always available for information.

Your Tasks
- Co-responsibility for the timely and tariff-compliant adherence to contracts in the processing of cost approvals in the emergency admission
- Contact person for professional, insurance and system-technical enquiries from internal and external parties
- Ensuring the reception of the emergency admission
- Maintenance of master data as well as various administrative tasks
- Operation of the telephone switchboard (forwarding calls and providing information)
- Willingness to work in shifts (working hours Monday - Friday between 18:00 and 22:30, on weekends and public holidays in shift work (working hours between 06:30 and 22:30, 3 shifts according to duty roster)
Your Profile
- Medical training (medical secretary, MPA) with commercial flair or basic commercial training with experience in the hospital or insurance sector
- Proven professional experience in patient admission or in health/accident insurance in the area of claims processing
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Good oral and written German skills as well as additional languages an advantage
- Confident IT user skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Solution-oriented and reliable working style, high flexibility (for duty planning/covering shifts)
- Service-oriented, reliable and resilient personality
