You ensure the reliable operation of the Linux systems throughout the entire lifecycle, from installation and configuration through patching and upgrades to replacement
You analyse, develop and implement demanding and important IT operations projects in the Linux, infrastructure and application environment – sometimes as part of the team and sometimes independently
You monitor as 2nd level support the Linux servers, network components (virtual and physical) and applications you use, carry out fault analyses, maintain and document (within a reasonable scope) the system landscape
You automate recurring operational and administration tasks, especially with Ansible and shell scripting
You operate and optimise Linux infrastructures including filesystems, storage connections and system resources
You ensure IT security as part of operations through hardening, patch management and vulnerability remediation
You monitor and control several key suppliers for services in the area of Linux and infrastructure and selected applications
You coordinate content-wise with the other operations colleagues in our SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) processes and ceremonies and become an important part of our Agile Release Trains

Completed training as an IT specialist in platform development (EFZ) or equivalent qualification
At least 2 years of experience with Windows and Linux servers, data networks and IT infrastructure
Experience in application management of various applications
Good knowledge of network technologies such as TCP/IP, VLAN and DHCP is a given for you. Practical experience with DNS, VPN, ports and network drives
Ideally experience in collaboration with agile development and basic knowledge of DevOps methodologies
First experience in using AI and openness to using AI to make your everyday life significantly more efficient
Experience in Powershell and Azure-CLI is an advantage
Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting and performance analysis of Linux systems
Knowledge in the area of storage, filesystems, LVM as well as backup and restore
