We offer you the opportunity to gain professional experience on the job within the framework of a 3-year employment. By changing the specialist area within FINMA annually, you gain in-depth insights into different business areas of financial market supervision and continuously expand your expertise in the areas of Asset Management and Markets, Integrated Risk Expertise, Operations and Insurance.
For the start from 1 January 2027 we are looking for four motivated individuals.
Main tasks
- Extraction, analysis, preparation and visualisation of FINMA-specific data as well as the creation of corresponding reports
- Further development of digitalisation and analysis tools
- Collaboration in the Data Innovation Lab, especially in the application of ML methods
- Participation in cross-departmental projects around data, digitalisation and analytics
- Insights into different specialist areas of FINMA and active participation in changing data- and technology-related issues
Profile
- Completed Master’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or a comparable field of study
- Good programming skills in Python or R as well as experience with databases, SQL, reporting tools and data analysis
- High methodological competence, interconnected thinking and initiative as well as an independent, reliable and team-oriented working style
- Very good German skills (C1) as well as good English skills (B2); good French skills (B2) are an advantage

- 2nd interview round: beginning of November 2026, on site in Zurich
