Senior Consultant AI Governance & Risk / Regulatory Compliance / Banking / 100% / ZH
Project Focus: For a demanding project at a leading Swiss universal bank, we are looking for an experienced specialist in AI Governance, Risk & Compliance. The focus is on the practical implementation and anchoring of a bank-wide AI governance framework, taking into account regulatory requirements such as FINMA and the EU AI Act as well as existing governance and directive structures.
The position is particularly aimed at experienced professionals from governance, risk management, compliance, model risk or IT governance who can translate regulatory requirements into concrete processes, roles, controls and specifications.

Tasks:

• Further development and practical anchoring of the existing AI specialist concept in existing governance structures, directives and processes
• Translation of regulatory requirements, especially FINMA and the EU AI Act, into concrete organisational and - where necessary - technical specifications and TOMs
• Review and risk-based classification of AI use cases, AI applications and AI models
• Definition and further development of criteria for AI risk assessments and risk assessments
• Development of AI-specific requirements for documentation, testing, validation, monitoring, human-in-the-loop as well as bias and fairness controls
• Creation and further development of policies, directives, guidelines, templates and self-assessment procedures
• Collaboration in building an AI inventory and linking it with existing IT system and model inventories
• Co-design of the operational AI lifecycle process and support in processes around self-assessments, notifications and "shadow AI"
• Moderation of risk assessments and coordination with specialist departments, IT, model governance, data governance, information security, third-party risk and IKS/NFRM

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in governance, risk management or compliance in a regulated environment, ideally banking or financial services
• Proven experience in designing or implementing governance or risk frameworks
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements and internal specifications into concrete processes, roles, responsibilities, controls and TOMs
• Experience with risk classifications, risk assessments and self-assessment procedures
• Experience in creating policies, directives, guidelines and governance documentation
• Ideally experience in AI governance, AI risk management, model governance or regulatory AI requirements such as the EU AI Act
• Good understanding of related areas such as data governance, IT governance, information security, third-party risk and IKS/NFRM
• Confident manner and experience in moderating workshops as well as stakeholder management
