Our Team
We are a leading company in the field of credit card processing in Switzerland. To strengthen our IT Security & Risk team, we are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d) who will take our security tools to the next level together with the team colleagues.
The Role
- Design, implementation and optimisation of security controls across EDR, NDR, DLP, email security and vulnerability management to strengthen the security architecture
- Application of sound technical know-how in cloud technologies, Kubernetes and artificial intelligence (AI) to develop scalable and secure solutions
- Close collaboration with the SOC to further develop detection and response capabilities and continuously improve cyber resilience
- Advising and supporting stakeholders on all cyber security matters and acting as a trusted expert
- Managing the implementation of security measures within the agile delivery framework and achieving results even in complex environments with diverse stakeholders
- Ongoing analysis of the threat landscape and industry trends in the cyber domain, assessing associated risks and deriving appropriate adjustments for the deployed security solutions
What We Expect
- Completed studies in computer science, IT security or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in cyber security, ideally in a highly regulated environment
- Very good knowledge of modern security technologies (e.g. vulnerability management, network security, endpoint detection, email and cloud security, hardening)
- Practical experience in Linux engineering with a focus on Linux systems; experience with Windows environments is desirable
- Strong analytical thinking as well as excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Experience with implementing PCI-DSS requirements and certifications such as CISSP, CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or comparable is a plus
- High affinity for complex contexts, independent, reliable and communicative working style
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
